About

Through the power of authentic connection, we can foster growth and change that will help you live the life you want to live.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. Let's get to know each other.

I'm Elizabeth (she/her/hers). Iā€™m a licensed psychologist living in Salem, MA. I am licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and my home state of Arkansas. I have 15 years of education, training, and experience in university, community mental health, and outpatient settings. Prior to private practice, I worked as the Training Director and staff psychologist for universities in both Fayetteville, AR and Boston, MA.

I love to travel (especially to National Parks), crochet, and watch sci-fi with my dogs. If you think that we could work well together, I hope you will schedule a free initial consultation. I look forward to getting to know you!

  • My Values & Clinical Style

When you entrust your healing to my care, it is my sincere hope to help you feel seen, accepted, and valued. My practice is rooted in values of compassion, justice, and empowerment. I believe deeply in the power of connection and relationship to help individuals move through their journey to their ideal self. I integrate principles of evidence-practice with body liberation and identity affirmation principles.

  • My Interests

I spent the last 9 years working at college counseling centers, where I often worked well with graduate students, first-generation college students, students with anxiety, larger-bodied students, queer-identified students, and trans-, non-binary, and gender non-conforming students. I also work well with individuals who are struggling to navigate a range of relationships, including parents, partners, and platonic relationships.

  • Education & Training

I graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology from Hendrix College in 2008. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas in 2014, after completing an APA-accredited internship in community mental health. I received additional training in trauma, transgender health, and mindful approaches to treatment of depression & anxiety.
